Following up on Trump’s ‘falsehoods’

First, CNN tried to claim the crowds came disguised as an empty field for Trump’s inauguration (viewed internationally on TV by 30 million — ho hum) by posting photographs of the crowd gathering to hear his noon speech — photos taken at 8:20 a.m. Jan. 20, when hardly anyone had arrived — and comparing them to Obama’s crowd — presumably taken at the actual moment of the failed community organizer’s final, 2009 inauguration.

See https://twitter.com/PrisonPlanet/status/823250307383754753 .

In fact, Trump’s crowd may well have been smaller than Obama’s.

After all: a) Washington, D.C., being full of government employees, is 75 percent Democrat (6 percent registered Republican, the rest “other”), so Democrats will almost always draw bigger crowds there, while Republicans or freedom-lovers wishing to make their presence felt are obliged to fly or drive in from points West and South; b) CNN chose not to point out that anarchist protesters were beating up Trump fans trying to enter the area through a restricted number of access points, without much intervention from D.C. police; c) it was threatening to rain, and . . .

d) back in September and October, CNN was CLEARLY asserting, through their ridicule of the Trump rallies out in Flyover Country (airing only tiny sound bites selected to highlight some out-of-context Trump utterance which they thought might hurt him) that the tens of thousands of people showing up to cheer Trump, three rallies per day, waiting for hours in the cold when necessary — as opposed to the 50-odd high-school girls bused in to attend the average Hillary rally — was TOTALLY INSIGNIFICANT in terms of estimating the relative popularity of the candidates. Right?

Meaning Trump’s Jan. 20 crowd size proves precisely nothing. While a cable network’s attempt to fake up comparison photos to make Trump look less popular than he really is, could turn out to be a tad more significant.

Though I will admit the sizeable crowd attending a march organized by former Hamas operative Linda Sarsour in Washington the next day to protest . . . something, not too clear what, though there’s no doubt they see Trump’s electoral college landslide victory as a symbol of . . . whatever it is they don’t like, possibly the return of plain talk and alpha males to national affairs . . . proved beyond any further debate that women have vaginas (with the possible exception of women from Muslim countries that practice female genital mutilation — a practice evidently supported by these “multicultural feminists,” since they favor unlimited Muslim immigration — in which case they presumably still have PARTS of their vaginas) and I’m glad we finally got that straightened out.

Nonetheless, when this rig-the-photos tactic managed to elicit an off-the-cuff remark from Trump while speaking at CIA headquarters in Langley Jan. 21, ad libbing that the crowd sure looked bigger to him than those photos he saw on TV when he woke up — maybe a million or more — that freed the Everything-Trump-Says-Is-A-Lie media to pounce, again asserting the President of the United States lives in some kind of fantasy land, generating “falsehood after falsehood.”

Just as the 2016 Hillary campaign tried to “reinforce” the narrative or meme that “Trump is a groper” by staging a parade, a cascade, of undocumented, totally uncorroborated charges by middle-aged Hillary supporters that the billionaire businessmen had “touched” or “bumped” them as much as 31 years before (How would you set about proving you didn’t “bump” someone 31 years ago?), so the 2017 globalist Trump character-assassination campaign (though if assassinating his “character” doesn’t work, they’ve made it clear they’d eagerly help organize the real kind) was then able to “couple” the crowd estimate controversy to Trump’s “fabrication” that Hillary’s popular vote plurality is largely attributable to illegal aliens illegally voting Democratic. (see our post of four days ago: https://vinsuprynowicz.com/?p=4562 .)

See? He lies about EVERYTHING! Except that part where he said he’d order a halt to immigration (from seven terrorist countries previously identified by the Obama administration) and “accepting unscreened refugees” who want to impose Sharia law — and he did. And that part where he said he’d freeze federal hiring and OK the pipelines and start to slash job-killing regulations — and he did. And that part where he said he’d start building a border wall and insist that Mexico pay for it — and he did. And that part where he said he’d start to get rid of Obamacare and strip federal funds from “sanctuary cities” — and he did. You know, dumb stuff like that.

But wait! It gets better!

Michael Grunwald at the terminally biased, still-kissing-Hillary’s-ass Democrat/globalist Web site Politico doubled down Friday ( http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2017/01/president-trump-week-one-first-administration-214699 ) on the “Everything Trump says is a lie” narrative, simpering:

“At a White House reception on that very busy Monday, Trump told befuddled congressional leaders that he lost the popular vote in November only because 3 million to 5 million undocumented immigrants cast fraudulent ballots. This was rank baloney. Although Spicer . . . incorrectly claimed a Pew study found massive voter fraud in the past, in fact, the study had nothing to do with voter fraud, which other studies have found virtually nonexistent in the U.S.”

Are you sure that pile of aromatic horse apples wouldn’t taste better with some Tabasco, Michael, or maybe a little Bearnaise?

Voter fraud is “virtually nonexistent in the U.S.”? You sure you want that engraved on your tombstone?

834,381 net illegal votes for Mrs. Clinton

Based on national polling, political scientist Jesse Richman of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia on Jan. 27 announced his estimate that 6.4 percent of the estimated 20 million adult non-citizens in the U.S. voted in November.

He extrapolated that this percentage would have added 834,381 net illegal votes for Mrs. Clinton — far more than the implied Associated Press estimate or the straightforward Politico report of “zero,” and enough to have stolen 23 electoral votes from Donald Trump in Minnesota, New Hampshire, Nevada, and Maine . . . all of which states Clinton “won” by margins of less than 3 percent.

Check out . . . http://www.breitbart.com/hillary-clinton/2017/01/27/hillary-clinton-received-800000-illegal-votes-research-suggests/ , or

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jan/26/hillary-clinton-received-800000-votes-from-nonciti/ .

Now, at http://www.prisonplanet.com/bombshell-at-least-25-million-dead-and-fraudulent-registered-voters-in-2016.html , Kit Daniels reports “A study revealing that over 800,000 non-citizens voted for Hillary Clinton doesn’t account for dead and fraudulent voters, which accounted for over 25 million ‘registered voters’ during the 2012 presidential election — and little has changed since then.

“Illegal alien voters combined with dead and ‘multiple state’ voters could easily explain Clinton’s ‘popular vote’ margin over Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, especially considering that her ‘victory’ came from Democratic-controlled counties known for illegal immigration and loose voter ID laws such as in New York and California,” Daniels continues.

“A report by the Pew Center on the States finds that more than 1.8 million dead people are currently registered to vote,” Daniels reports (though Mr. Grunwald of Politico assures us this “has nothing to do with voter fraud”) “and 24 million registrations ‘are either invalid or inaccurate,’ NPR reported in 2012, which is ironic given how NPR is heavily controlled by Democrats.

“And many of the dead, registered voters somehow keep voting Democrat from beyond the grave, most recently in Philadelphia, Penn. and Colorado. . . .”

(. . . which Politico assures us “has nothing to do with voter fraud,” you’ll recall.)

“’The Pew study found that almost 3 million people are registered to vote in more than one state,’ NPR added.

That’s because when a new resident registers to vote in a state, officials seldom bother to tell his former state about the change in voter residency — or if they do, Democrats fight any attempts to “clean up” the registration lists, arguing that’s “racist.”

(What’s that? It’s hard to vote in two states on the same day? Not with absentee ballots. Not with “early voting.”)

“That said, a popular vote victory is meaningless,” Daniels of Prison Planet concludes. “If the president was elected by popular vote, then both Trump and Clinton would have campaigned in entirely different states because only densely populat(ed) regions of the U.S. would decide who would become president.

“Without the electoral college, the United States of America would be reduced to the United States of New York and California, with 48 other vassal states.

“Yet notice how Clinton campaigned in other, less populated states. They knew the popular vote was meaningless ahead of the election.”

Mr. Trump has already called for a probe of illegal voting, with proposed solutions to come after some federal investigative muscle reveals the true size of the problem. (Deporting millions of illegals, felons and terrorists — all of whom the ACLU of course vows to defend — should be a good start.)

Trump supporters don’t have to lift a finger, crazed mainstream media committing suicide before their eyes

Does Donald Trump sometimes make remarks that contain exaggerations or inaccuracies? Sure. Leaders who speak off the cuff, instead of submitting every remark to be pored over by advisors and tested through focus groups, can be guilty of that. But I spent more than 40 years in the news business wishing MORE of our officials would speak their minds straight out, instead of just regurgitating carefully crafted and memorized “talking points” designed to mislead.

It’s also clear Trump sometimes talks this way precisely to goad and rope-a-dope the opposition party (which is, of course, “The Press”), speaking over the heads of these hilariously unbalanced alarmists to his mass of supporters, who love every minute of it.

Furthermore, when statist, globalist, gun-grabbing Democrats spent decades uttering carefully crafted lies intended to dupe and mislead the American public on issues of considerable importance — “If you like your doctor and your plan, you can keep them”; “We’re going to secure the southern border” (in exchange for Reagan’s amnesty of 3.2 million illegals in 1986, re-asserted at every opportunity since) “and carefully vet all arriving refugees”; “Banning ‘assault rifles and large-capacity magazines’ will reduce crime”; “Those crazy Branch Davidians just set themselves on fire”; “We don’t have a clue about the shooter’s motivation; pay no attention to all that ‘Allahu Akbar’ stuff he was shouting”; “All these tax dollars will immediately go into ‘shovel-ready jobs'”; “These bank bailout funds will be passed along from the banks to upside-down mortgage holders”, “We’re going to make abortions safe, legal, and rare” — the press corps just grinned and packaged up these warm little mass-produced turds for us in a nice styrofoam go-box, no questions asked.

Did this parade of really big, purposeful lies ever lead The Associated Press to report in a news story — not in a commentary or an analysis piece, mind you, but a NEWS story — that Bill Clinton’s or Barack Obama’s “falsehoods overshadow his outreach efforts” . . . as they reported of Donald Trump last week?

When Donald Trump makes an off-the-cuff remark that he favors creating “safe zones” in Syria — which some have estimated might require 30,000 American boots on the ground — THEN it’s important for an inquiring press to call him on it and ask what the heck he means.

But when he points out CNN rigged their inauguration comparison photos — something that can be easily checked and demonstrated — is that really a smart time for the already discredited “legacy media” to gleefully play “Gotcha”?

Do they really want their careers to hang on their assertion that there’s “no vote fraud” in America? NONE?

The most reassuring thing about all this frantic media scrambling to discredit every word President Trump says is this:

The general opinion among Americans — leaving aside the demented crowing of the increasingly irrelevant Washington-Hollywood-New York political/media/aging-sex-kitten class — is that Trump is moving with refreshing speed and energy on a wide number of fronts, to restore an America that Barack Obama spent eight years trying to discredit, demoralize, bankrupt, and destroy.

(In all its 40-year history, when has the Libertarian Party ever gotten this close to shutting down the property-rights-destroying EPA, or rolling back victim disarmament?)

Does the “legacy media” really want to blow its last chance to “re-boot” after its November embarrassment? Or is it out to convince its remaining audience that Americans would be more likely to get a straight report on Donald Trump’s progress to date — enacting the agenda they voted for — by checking some Web site from Moscow or London . . . or maybe Breitbart News?

I’m sure Mr. Trump will do some stuff I or we don’t agree with, in the months to come. He’s a trial-and-error kind of guy.

But as I predicted a few months back, by mid-February America’s far-left political class will be wondering what hit ’em. Shrieking and name-calling while running around in circles is not a good substitute for making orderly decisions about where it’s best to compromise and what few battles (reproductive freedom?) a force with limited resources might still be able to win.

And by summer? The once-scary Jihadi warriors, waving their swords in the air and threatening to trample us — and a generation of simpering European politicians who argued that western women will just have to get used to wearing burqas and niqabs or hijabs or hojobs or whatever these 8th Century throwbacks choose to call their women’s slave suits — will be scrambling like someone just turned on the light in the cockroach palace.

I don’t think Donald Trump and Mad Dog Mattis are going to settle for sending in John Kerry to tell these characters we’re really, really disappointed in them and we think they should take a “time out.” Do you?

“You go into Afghanistan,” General Mattis says, “you got guys who slap women around for five years because they didn’t wear a veil. You know, guys like that ain’t got no manhood left anyway. So it’s a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them. . . . It’s a real hoot.” He’s also the guy who walked in without his armor and told the local tribal leaders after his men flattened the Iraqi army: “I come in peace. I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you fuck with me, I’ll kill you all.”

Do you think Donald Trump picked this guy because Neville Chamberlain was no longer available?

Donald Trump is just beginning to demonstrate that he’s an accomplished negotiator not bought off by anyone (something neither our allies nor our enemies have seen in a generation) — not afraid to start out with the kind of demand that causes formerly smug and complacent adversaries to approach the negotiating table with a sloshing in their shoes from having just peed their pants. (A 20 percent tariff on Mexican goods to fund The Wall; cutting EPA staffing by 50 percent as a start on the road to eliminating the entire agency with all its “carbon emissions” bullshit, and he really sees no reason for the continued existence of the European Union — or NATO or the United Nations — at all. What was your counter-proposal, again?)

The nation’s hebephrenic, Politically Correct, code-talking, permanently-pretending-to-be-outraged, globalist/statist/collectivist daily newspapers and major news networks were massively hemorrhaging readership, viewership, market share and advertising revenue BEFORE Judgment Day arrived for them on Nov. 8, 2016.

They still don’t get it. It’s like they saw that really bright flash of light in the sky but they figure all this talk about “fallout” and “radiation” must be nonsense, because they just brushed off the cinders and they still feel fine, except maybe for their teeth being a little loose and these funny white spots.

In the wave of media mergers and consolidations and hose-outs that’s about to ensue, those who decide who’s retained and who gets an hour to load their stuff in a cardboard box will be financial analysts focused on what new brands and formats seem likely to attract viewers in a new era when no one is finishing up supper in a hurry so they can all gather in the living room to hear Walter Cronkite tell them “That’s the way it is” at exactly 6:30 p.m., any more.

As ever more American families just laugh and decline to go six figures in debt so Junior and Sis can waste four years reading Karl Marx and Franz Fanon to get that degree in White Oppression Studies from some former police-station bomber/professor who’s grown out his hair and now claims to be a Native American shaman, these money men (and gals) are not going to give a damn who had a hit song or won a “Golden Globe” in 2004.

Telling them you once wrote 150 separate and distinct “Trump is a Nazi” jokes for Saturday Night Live or The New York Times or sported a really nice hairstyle on CNN or any other branch of the 20th Century state-socialist Media Monopoly is going to be the equivalent of saying you once sang “Mammy” in blackface at the Palace or danced to “Me and My Shadow” on the vaudeville stage while juggling a top hat. “Thanks for stopping by. Next!”

My recommendation to young folk today would be that if you can get your foot in the door with a job fetching coffee and donuts at Breitbart or Townhall or the Daily Caller, give it a try. As the public desperately casts about for news sources not run by babbling Marxists still praying that Che Guevara will return from the grave to reverse the course of history and save their asses, the day may come when everyone else is busy and the editor hands you a cell phone and tells you to go get that story.

Your odds will surely be better than those of your classmates taking prestigious-sounding jobs with the Environmental Protection Agency or the European Union. Or handling public relations for the Islamic State or the Sinaloa Cartel.

Because they’re about to meet these guys:

  1. Rob Says:

General Mattis is a decidedly old school military man, the kind America used to turn out by the dozens in decades past. I would follow that man anywhere, as should all true Americans. Pray that President Trump can find more appointees like him.

  2. Vince Says:

Just…stunning. You tend to forget the absurdity of these people until you look at some of the pictures they proudly, proudly mind you, pose for!

Fantastic job at putting it all into text, Vin. Nock and Mencken are surely smiling on you.

  3. Lab Guy Says:

DJT is not libertarian by any means, but the pain and suffering the brings to my enemies with minimal effort on my part is worth the price of admission.

Thank you Vince for keeping up the good fight.
